Grace Prescott Bursary
Established in 1990 by Grace Harriet Prescott to assist students pursuing studies in Nursing. Awarded on the basis of academic standing and financial need. This bursary is administered by the Student Aid Office.
School of Nursing Alumni Awards
Several awards of approximately $1,000 each are granted annually to undergraduate nursing students in the second and third year of their program and to students in the graduate program in Nursing. These prizes include: the Marion Lindeburgh Scholarship, the Irma Riley Award and the Agnes Boisde Award.
The School of Nursing also awards book prizes and CJNR (Canadian Journal of Nursing Research) prizes. Students are encouraged to inquire at the School of Nursing about additional fellowships and scholarships available during the current academic year.

Evelyn Rocque Malowany Prize in Nursing
Established in 2007 by Eveyln Rocque Malowany. Awarded by the School of Nursing to a graduating student who has demonstrated initiative and leadership in the profession.

CNF
The Canadian Nurses Foundation is the only national foundation committed to promoting the health of Canadians through the advancement of the profession of nursing, by supporting nurses in the further education through study awards and research grants.
In December 2008, TD Bank Financial Group and CNF announced a new $100,000 fund to support Aboriginal students studying nursing.
COS
Community of Science funding information is drawn from federal and regional governments, private foundations, societies, corporations and associations. Visit the COS website for more information.
CRHP
The Canadian Respiratory Health Professionals Student Award in Respiratory Health is offered to students enrolled in healthcare programs who have a special interest in respiratory care. Up to 6 awards will be offered to students in the fields on nursing, physiotherapy, repiratory therapy, and related health fields. Recipients will receive a prize of $500 and a 1-year membership in the CRHP.

GRIISIQ
Each year, the Groupe de recherche interuniversitaire en interventions en sciences infirmières du Québec hands out graduate level fellowships and undergraduate Honor type bursaries to promising students that are likely to become tomorrow's generation of nursing researchers.

Maimonides Geriatric Centre Foundation Bursary
On behalf of Dr. Hélène Ezer, we are pleased to announce that the Maimonides Geriatric Centre Foundation will be again offering a bursary of $2500 to a nursing student who demonstrates interest in geriatrics. This bursary will be awarded during the academic year 2010-2011.
Interested applicants must submit a copy of their recent transcript along with a written description of their previous experience(s) related to geriatric nursing or work with the elderly and a statement of their current studies in this area.
